About Michelle Murray-Glidden, APRN

Michelle Murray-Glidden, APRN, is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse with more than 14 years of inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience. She currently serves the communities of Hamden, East Haven, North Haven, West Haven, and Wallingford, Connecticut, at HeartCare Associates of Connecticut. 

Passionate about delivering exceptional health care, Michelle has a breadth of cardiology experience and training, including general medical cardiology, heart failure, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology. She even has experience in pacemaker and defibrillator interrogation, which allows a patient’s device to communicate with the programmer.

After graduating from Central Connecticut University in Britain with a Bachelor of Science in nursing, Michelle pursued her Master of Science in nursing at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. After graduating from Quinnipiac University, she served as an adjunct assistant professor there for nurse practitioner students.

As an advanced practice nurse licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health, Michelle takes advantage of any training opportunity that can help widen her skillset. From electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to cardiac stress testing, and congestive heart failure disease management, Michelle goes above and beyond to care for her patients. 

Michelle is proud to be an active member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
