About Linda Hricz-Borges, PA-C

Linda Hricz-Borges, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease, with a special interest in the comprehensive care and management of congestive heart failure and women's health. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Linda works in the communities of Hamden, East Haven, North Haven, West Haven, and Wallingford, Connecticut, at HeartCare Associates of Connecticut.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in fine arts at Fairfield University in Connecticut, Linda attended the Duke University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in Durham, North Carolina, graduating cum laude. Linda later completed a surgical residency at Norwalk Hospital and Yale University School of Medicine in Norwalk, Connecticut. 

During her time in the program, Linda received the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the Surgical PA Residency Program and the Residents Writing Award.

Linda has worked in cardiology and cardiac surgery for more than 25 years. She has specialized training in congestive heart failure management and advanced cardiac therapies, including left ventricular assist device (LVAD) and heart transplantation.

In addition to her clinical experience, Linda has authored several publications and even lectures on the outpatient management of congestive heart failure. She’s also involved in clinical trials and cardiac research at Yale University.

When she has spare time, Linda enjoys hiking and boating. She also practices mindfulness, Reiki, and meditation to reduce stress.
